IL18 WALLSTYL® NMC 2m Ceiling Coving

Installing NMC covings and cornices is simple and can be done as a DIY project or by a professional. Follow these steps:

• Prepare the surface: Ensure the walls and ceiling are clean, dry, and smooth.
• Cut the coving: Use a mitre box to cut the coving at the required angles, especially for corners.
• Apply adhesive: Use an NMC-approved adhesive, such as Adefix, on the back of the coving.
• Position the coving: Press it firmly into place against the wall and ceiling.
• Seal the joints: Fill any gaps or joints with caulk to create a seamless look.
• Final checks: Wipe off any excess adhesive and ensure everything is properly aligned.

NMC coving decor can be easily painted to match your interior design. Here’s how to do it:

• Choose the right paint: NMC covings are compatible with water-based paints like emulsion or acrylic.
• Prepare the surface: Make sure the coving is clean and free from dust before painting. Lightly sand if needed.
• Prime if necessary: Depending on your paint choice, it may be beneficial to apply a primer first.
• Paint carefully: Apply two coats for the best finish, allowing each coat to dry fully before applying the next.

NMC covings require minimal maintenance:

• Regular dusting: Use a soft cloth or duster to remove dust from the coving.
• Deeper cleaning: If necessary, you can wipe the coving with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the surface.
• Inspect regularly: Check for any cracks or wear over time and fill gaps or repaint if needed to maintain their appearance.
